Fly With Me by Andie Burke

Synopsis

An ER nurse saves a passenger’s life mid-flight and goes viral for it — then the co-pilot who flew the plane offers her a fake relationship, betting it’ll finally get airline executives to notice her for the promotion she deserves. The emotional core runs deeper than the premise suggests, turning a lighthearted setup into something genuinely moving.

Why We Loved It

You had me at “ER nurse runs a marathon through Disney World in honor of her dead brother’s memory.” Cue Meg’s waterworks.

Also, this nails the “K for Kiss” of the The FAKING IT Framework, where the public performance of their relationship creates friction when Stella is privately reserved and distant.
