Rosemary and Logan haven’t spoken since an unexplained falling-out in middle school, despite now teaching in the same high school English department. When their old teacher and surrogate father figure is dying and asks them to drive him from Washington to Maine one last time, a five-day trip stretches into three weeks β long enough for both of them to finally face what actually happened between them all those years ago.
Why We Loved It
Meg pretty much ate up every scene about the three-week road trip in a converted “queer cuddle bus.” Plus Rosemary doesn’t have an ace-awakening so much as an ace-confession, and Logan handles it with such care.
Plus the dog, and the retired teacher’s own version of a second chance? Cue the waterworks.
